Altitude Sports is urging Comcast to put customers throughout the Rocky Mountain region first after failing to reach a resolution through mediation. For the past three years, thousands of fans throughout the Rocky Mountain Region have been deprived the joy of watching historic individual achievements and championship runs on one of their hometown regional sports networks.

Altitude remains committed to exploring all avenues to return the network to Comcast. With that in mind, Altitude is offering to match the same pricing terms and distribution model Comcast has provided to AT&T Sportsnet Rocky Mountain (the television home of the Colorado Rockies). AT&T Sportsnet Rocky Mountain has been carried without interruption by Comcast.

“Our goal is a simple one. We want to return the Nuggets, Avs, Rapids, and Mammoth games back to our fans on Comcast,” said Matt Hutchings, President of KSE Media Ventures. “Comcast representatives have recently said that they are fans of the Avs, Nuggets, and Rapids. Our hope is that by offering Comcast a model they’ve clearly been comfortable with over the last three years, we might give fans throughout the Front Range back the championship teams they’ve been missing.”

During this impasse, Altitude has renewed agreements at market rates and terms with other major providers throughout the region. We fully understand and recognize that the industry is at a crossroads. It is our desire to work with Comcast to craft a solution that makes these games readily available to our fans and their customers. In the end, we want a solution where Comcast, the teams, and most of all, the fans win.

Altitude remains committed to broadcasting Nuggets, Avalanche, Rapids, and Mammoth games despite operating the network at a significant loss due to limited distribution. It will continue to employ hundreds of Coloradans and feature in-depth coverage of our professional teams and local sports content that isn’t available through any other broadcaster.

Customers and fans of your hometown teams should continue to contact Comcast Customer service at 1-833- 553-3725 or online at www.xfinity.com/support/contact-us and demand they carry Altitude Sports. They can also petition Comcast to return the network to their service at www.ipetitions.com/petition/dont-block-my-altitude
