Tuesday, December 17, 2019

DENVER—Today, Altitude Sports announced that starting on Wednesday, December 18 they will embrace the latest in broadcast technology with the presentation of the Denver Nuggets game vs. Orlando Magic in 4K HDR for DIRECTV* viewers. Tip Off is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT on DIRECTV Channel 105.

Watching the Denver Nuggets just got even better with the DIRECTV broadcast in 4K HDR, which gives you an immersive home-viewing experience, making fans feel like they’re in the arena even when they’re at home. It delivers four times as many pixels as 1080p, providing viewers greater picture detail and smoother movements across the screen.

“Since our inception, Altitude has been a leader in production values.  Working with DIRECTV to deliver the Nuggets game in 4K HDR continues that tradition, as Altitude Sports will be one of the first Regional Sports Network’s in the country to broadcast games utilizing this technology” said KSE EVP/COO Matt Hutchings.  “We believe that our team’s fans deserve the best.  These 4K HDR broadcast from Pepsi Center deliver just that.”

The 4K broadcast via Altitude Sports and DIRECTV will provide fans with the highest quality viewing experience for these games.  Adding to the upgrade in picture quality will be the High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology deployed, which will bring better contrast to the image allowing for colors to come through as close to real life and with the ability to see things in the darker areas of the picture with more clarity.

Altitude Sports will be among the first Regional Sports Network’s to offer NBA home games in 1080p HDR. Please visit www.altitudesports.com for more information and updates on additional games in 4K with DIRECTV.
