Background

Altitude Sports & Entertainment ("Altitude Sports") hit the airwaves on September 4, 2004, and is already the most-watched regional sports network in the Rockies. Altitude Sports was created by Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Mammoth, and Colorado Rapids owner, Stan Kroenke, to give area sports fans the most comprehensive regional sports network in the Rocky Mountains. No matter what sport, Altitude Sports has something for everyone; Basketball, Hockey, Soccer, Lacrosse, Extreme, Outdoors, Boxing, Poker, Golf, Cycling, High School sports, college sports, and professional sports.


Sports

Altitude Sports is the official television network of the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, and Colorado Mammoth. Altitude Sports broadcasts University of Denver sports (including hockey, basketball, soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, and lacrosse), United States Air Force Academy sports (including football, hockey and basketball) the CU Buffalo Stampede weekly show, CHSAA High School Football Game of the Week as well as other local and regional sports, entertainment, and public service programming.
