How do I contact Altitude Sports & Entertainment?
The best way to contact Altitude Sports & Entertainment with questions or concerns is through our Contact Us page.
Where is Altitude Sports & Entertainment available?
Altitude Sports & Entertainment is available within a 10-State territory of the Rocky Mountain Region including: Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Northern New Mexico, Northeast Nevada and Southwest South Dakota.
Availability in these states is based on NBA and NHL territorial restrictions which determine where Avalanche and Nuggets games can be distributed. Outside of the Altitude Sports & Entertainment territory, Altitude Sports & Entertainment is available in regional Sports Packs (anywhere in the U.S. that DirecTV service is offered), however all Avalanche and Nuggets games will be blacked out. All other Altitude Sports & Entertainment programming is available in these areas.
Colorado Avalanche games are available in the following areas: Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas (except for Kansas City), Nebraska, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Northern New Mexico and Northeastern Nevada.
Denver Nuggets games are available in the following areas: Colorado, Wyoming (except for Evanston), Nebraska, Kansas, Northern New Mexico and Southwestern South Dakota. Collegiate game blackouts are determined on a game by game basis
How do I find out what channel Altitude Sports & Entertainment is on?
To find out what channel Altitude Sports & Entertainment is on in your area, please use our Channel Finder tool.
What happens if there is a Nuggets game and an Avalanche game scheduled at the same time?
If you are in an area that receives both Avalanche and Nuggets games, Altitude Sports & Entertainment will carry one game on the regular channel and will offer the other game on an additional Altitude channel called Altitude 2.
If you are in a territory that cannot receive the Avalanche you will receive the Nuggets game. If you are in a territory that cannot receive the Nuggets you will receive the Avalanche game.
The NHL, NBA, and some college conferences place territorial restrictions on the distribution of certain teams or games. Altitude Sports & Entertainment and its cable/satellite distributors must follow these mandated territorial restrictions, which is why you may not receive a specific game, depending on your location.
Is Altitude Sports & Entertainment available on Video-On-Demand?
Yes. Altitude Sports & Entertainment provides VOD programming. Please check with your local cable provider to determine if VOD is available in your area, and if they distribute Altitude Sports & Entertainment in VOD offerings.
Unfortunately, Altitude Sports & Entertainment is unable to re-distribute programming shown on our network because of league-mandated restrictions in the NBA, NHL, MLS, NLL, NCAA and other institutions.
I have an idea for a show. How do I submit it?
It is Altitude Sports & Entertainment's policy and practice to not accept unsolicited materials. If you would like for us to review any materials that you send to us, we ask that you specifically acknowledge and consent to the following agreement before making a submission.
I live within Altitude’s broadcast territory, can I access Nuggets games via NBA League Pass and Avalanche games via NHL’s Center Ice?
No, you cannot. NBA League Pass and NHL Center Ice packages are services designed to provide out-of market games. These services do not provide games of the local NHL/NBA team. (e.g. a Nuggets/Avs fan living in L.A. anywhere outside Altitude’s 10 state territory can receive Nuggets/Avs games via NBA League Pass/NHL Center Ice)
If I am a Comcast (Xfinity) subscriber, do I have access to Altitude Sports & Entertainment?
No, you do not. Altitude’s agreement with Comcast (Xfinity) expired on Saturday, August 31, 2019.
If I am a DISH Network subscriber, do I have access to Altitude Sports & Entertainment?
No, you do not. Altitude’s agreement with DISH Network expired on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.
Are any further discussions being had following contract expirations?
Altitude is continuing to seek a resolution on carriage deals with both Comcast and DISH Network. At this time, you can find Altitude available on DIRECTV, DirecTV Stream, Charter Communications, and other cable providers in a 10-state region that includes Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Utah. For a complete list please go to the bottom of this page. For additional information on cable and satellite providers in your area, visit www.altitudesports.com/channel-finder/.

Can I access Altitude via a direct-to-consumer streaming option?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. Today a model does not exist that can support a direct-to-consumer streaming option. A direct-to-consumer offering would be very expensive to the consumer and would not raise sufficient revenue for Altitude and the other Regional Sports Networks to remain in business. If this model did not exist, the Regional Sports Networks, including Altitude, would disappear as they would not have sufficient revenue to pay for the rights fees for the wide array of sports programming they provide to their subscribers. As a result, sports fans would not be able to watch their favorite local teams.
There is not a Regional Sports Network in the country that provides a direct-to-consumer streaming option. In fact, both Comcast, which owns the NBC SportsNet Regional Sports Networks in Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Bay Area, Portland/Seattle, and DIRECTV (AT&T), which owns AT&T SportsNet Regional Sports Networks in Colorado (which carries the Colorado Rockies), Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Houston and Pittsburgh, do not currently offer direct-to-consumer streaming options to their consumers.
Altitude does provide AltitudeNOW a service that allows cable and satellite subscribers to watch Altitude via a mobile device, tablet and or laptop.
