Altitude Lifts Local Blackout Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Altitude Sports has lifted the potential blackout of the Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Game #5 of the NBA Playoffs, scheduled for Tuesday, 4/25 at 7pm MT. The NBA announced that this game would be broadcast nationally on NBA TV, as well regionally on Altitude Sports. Under NBA broadcast guidelines, games broadcast on NBA TV, as opposed to games broadcast nationally on TNT or ESPN, are subject to blackout in the local regional broadcast area within the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
Altitude Sports will waive its exclusive regional rights so that the game will be available, even on those carriers who have opted not to carry Altitude Sports. Game #5 of the Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves series will be available on Altitude Sports. The Nuggets pre-game show featuring Vic Lombardi, Bill Hanzlik, Katie Winge, and Chris Dempsey will start at 6:30 p.m. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. locally and will be called on Altitude by Chris Marlowe and Scott Hastings. The game will also be carried on Altitude Sports Radio 92.5 featuring Jason Kosmicki on the call.
