Altitude Sports relaunches AltitudeNOW to DIRECTV customers

Tuesday, November 5, 2019

DENVER Altitude Sports & Entertainment is re-launching its AltitudeNOW streaming service to customers of DIRECTV. This coincides with the announcement last week that Altitude and DIRECTV have reached a carriage deal.

Access to AltitudeNOW is made available to Altitude subscribers that are authenticated through their television providers at no additional cost. Users can stream live games by visiting www.AltitudeNOW.com or downloading the AltitudeNOW app on iOS/Android mobile devices/tablets.

AltitudeNOW provides subscribers the opportunity to stream live Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Rapids games, plus additional Altitude programming.

“We believe offering this type of service is essential in meeting the needs of our teams’ millennial fans,” said KSE EVP/COO Matt Hutchings. “We know how much those fans value the option to watch games on the device of their choice. DIRECTV customers will once again have the ability to watch Altitude programming, not only at home but also on any mobile device or computer, at any time of the day.”

DIRECTV and CenturyLink Prism subscribers are currently able to stream the AltitudeNOW app. Customers of both Comcast and DISH Network no longer have access to this service, as those companies continue to block fans throughout the region from having access to their hometown teams.
