Pioneers to Extend Partnership with Altitude TV and Bonneville Denver

New agreements reached with both broadcasting partners

DENVER – The University of Denver’s Division of Athletics & Recreation in partnership with Altitude Sports & Entertainment and Bonneville Denver, announced new separate agreements on Tuesday to continue to broadcast future Pioneers athletic events. Altitude TV, home to all televised Pioneer home games since 2016, reached a new three-year deal to continue to broadcast men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, hockey, gymnastics and men’s and women’s lacrosse contests. “We are thrilled to continue partnering with Altitude Sports & Entertainment and Bonneville Denver,” said Denver Sports Properties general manager Jon Boos. “Both these partnerships provide a tremendous platform that allow our current fans and new fans to follow their favorite teams here at the University of Denver all year long.”

Seen in more than 2.5 million homes in a 10-state territory, Altitude TV is the television home of the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Mammoth, Colorado Rapids, Denver Outlaws, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, University of Denver sports (hockey, basketball, soccer, volleyball, gymnastics and lacrosse), University of Colorado and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference shows, CHSAA High School Football Game of the Week, as well as other local and regional sports, entertainment and public service programming. Bonneville Denver’s Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan and ESPN Denver 1600 will continue to be home for Denver men’s basketball, hockey and men’s lacrosse on the radio for the 2019-20 seasons after coming to a new agreement.

“We’re proud to continue our partnership with the University of Denver,” said Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan and ESPN Denver 1600 program director Raj Sharan. “We’ve been fortunate to broadcast exciting games including national championship victories from the hockey and men’s lacrosse programs. We look forward to another great season from those teams as well as the men’s basketball program.”

Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan (KKFN-FM) is heading into their 25th year in Denver where they’ve consistently been rated as the market’s top sports-radio station. ESPN Denver 1600 (KEPN-AM) remains the region’s home for ESPN Radio programming including the play-by-play home of the NBA Playoffs and NBA Finals, MLB Playoffs and World Series and the College Football Playoff.
