Statement from Altitude Sports regarding tonight's Avalanche broadcast
Each season NBC selects their national broadcast schedule in accordance with their partnership with the NHL. This year NBC decided to pick up the maximum number of seven Avalanche games they can air nationally on an exclusive basis. However, tonight is not one of those exclusive games. Given that, NBCSN will adhere to local broadcasting rights as established by the NHL. As a result, the NBCSN broadcast of this game will not be available in both the Avalanche and Wild’s in-market broadcast territories.
Coverage of the game between your Colorado Avalanche and the Minnesota Wild will be available to households that subscribe to DirecTV and AT&T’s streaming platform AT&T TV. Altitude continues to explore new ways to provide fans with access to games.
