The Colorado Avalanche comeback from being down 1-4 in the second period to force overtime in the last 10 minutes with a goal from J.T. Compher off of an incredible pass from Mikko Rantanen. Devon Toews took the game into his own hands on OT with a give and go pass from Nazem Kadri for a five-hole shot to win the game in OT 5-4. This win secured the longest home win streak in Colorado Avalanche franchise history.
